TRANSITION 5 JACKET
I've had this jacket a few months now -- it has really worked well, and has lots of features. Lots of ways to open the jacket up with the weather gets a bit warmer -- but it is not a summer jacket. The liner comes in and out fairly easy. Fits well -- I have a large -- I'm 5'10" and 190 pounds. Very happy with this purchase
Having previously owned other Tourmaster jacket/ pants and gear the Transition 5 was a no brainer. Its spine protection, shoulder, and elbow pads along with quality fabrics keep you safe in all conditions. The full sleeve length liner and an amazing ventilation system it excels in all conditions especially when you need it most. Wearing my transition 5 jacket, venture pants, gloves, mx boots and helmet I rode with Confidence knowing I was protected off road, after being cut off I went down hard at 25mph. Thankfully my transition 5 jacket absorbed the full speed crash with the force of my body landing on my elbow. The first layer of fabric ground down at the most heavily impacted area. I was expecting to see at least the pad in the elbow after sliding so far but still a layer of fabric. Thankfully the Tourmaster Transition 5 jacket and the carefully executed padding, weaved fabric and design saved my elbow and arm. Highly recommend Tourmaster for their products versatility and protection.
This jacket is very comfortable and quality is very good. Price is right.
Nice Jacket. Will keep you warm in cold weather. Overall very happy after my 1500 miles ride in cold temperatures.
Did I say Great? I'm glad I ordered this jacket. It fits comfortably and keeps out the rain and cold. Yay!
I ordered this jacket on a whim because it was a lot cheaper than some of the other ones I was trying on and I am a really tall guy (6'8") so I wanted to see if I could get a riding jacket that wouldn't ride up and expose my arms while in riding position and this delivered beyond expectation!!
The length is perfect for me, the fit is great, and has adjustable straps for even more flexibility. The zip in liner is super warm and the jacket seals up nice for rain, which it is totally rainproof. When the liner is out and the vents are open in the back you get nice flow through ventilation and it is comfortable enough in hot weather. My other summer jacket which is basically mesh with padding does a bit of a better job in the really hot stuff, but this one keeps you covered and it's rainproof which the there’s is not.
All in all, if you're tall and looking for a great riding jacket, this on in the tall/long size has been great for me. And at this price I am probably gonna order another one just to have a backup. Like the styling too!
This is a wonderful jacket. Keeps you warm even in 30F for about 1 hour, after which you might feel a slight wind chill but can be manageable. Will definitely recommend this for cold months.
Great jacket, I have a very long torso and normal arms so normally to get a motorcycle jacket that fit I need a xxxl and they still aren't long enough, this one in 2xl for great with length to spare! I ride in western NY so spring and fall go down to 50* and summers can be 95* and very humid. Although this jacket is thick and waterproof it's very comfortable and hasn't been to hot yet when the vents are open. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone!
Huge Value! Excellent fit, quality construction. Warm, even at speed with temps in hight 30's.
INTAKE AIR MESH 4.0 JACKET
I returned a similar Joe Rocket jacket cause the quality was not up to Tour Master standards. Notably the rain insert on the Joe Rocket was just vinyl liner. It was shaped, but would not breathe. Tour Master had a breathable, more comfortable rain liner, AND included a proper thermal liner as well. Either, both or neither liner can be worn inside this great Tour Master jacket.
With no liner installed, this jacket lets in gobs of air. The exterior features like extra-dense materials-where it-counts, adjustable straps and choice of colors are all welcomed. The armor seems to stay in place and is unobtrusive in use. The liner options are primo.
The fit and finish of the product are world-class - typical Tour Master.
They're not giving these away, but I think I got my money's worth, and I know I got what I needed for the warmer weather.
Had a Series 2 Tourmaster jacket and finally need to replace it. Was hard choice on what to select for replacement but found it hard to find a open weave jacket that also had water proof shell and quilted liner. Colorado offers chance to go from +70s to freezing in short time and ability to adjust quickly very helpful. Good fit using sizing chart but allows for extra layer under.
Fit great and will keep you warm, dry, and safer because your can be seen very well.
SABER 4.0 JACKET
Wow! This is my first motorcycle jacket and I am glad I chose this one! Its a 3 season jacket so Winter, Fall and Spring. It does come with CE approved armor at the wrist, elbows, shoulders and spine. It is windproof as well as waterproof just be sure to wear a scarf or balaclava to prevent wind from sneaking in through your neck. It is sized to fit and comes with a wool liner. I have used this jacket for about 500 miles commuting through temps as high as 80'F and low as 20'F. When its warm out take out the liner and open the vents then when he temps drop put the liner back in and close the vents and layer up. Tourmaster has put a ton of pockets on this jacket.
I live in Seattle so rain is a year round issue for me. This jacket is perfect. I use it daily for commuting to work and on weekends for long rides. Great price, great wind and rain protection, and great arm, shoulder, and back impact protection as well, with lots of pockets which I like and need, The 3/4 length is also great for me, since I usually un-tuck my shirt for riding and this jacket has that extra length to keep me fully dry. It's Fall currently so I am using the jacket without the removable quilted liner, since it was too warm for me with it on. I will test the liner in Winter but given the warmth initially felt during my first ride with this jacket, I am pretty sure it will hold up to the cold. The one thing I have not tested is the ventilation zippers option, which this jacket has plenty of, but I do have the impression it may be too warm for Summer. This is a solution to 3/4ths of the year so I will deal with Summer when it gets here, probably with another Tourmaster air solution. For the moment I can only give the Saber 4 3/4 an outstanding review.
SONORA AIR 2.0 MESH JACKET
Love this jacket. I'm 6' 4" and about 250 lbs, and it fits me really well. Long sleeves and back (I have the tall version). Lots of pockets and padding (but a bit thin, to be honest). Hope I never have to test it.
I ride a bike in Dubai and even now, in January, it's about 80 degrees (but at least it's not 100% humid as it is in the summer).
JETT SERIES 3 JACKET
This is a jacket you are not in a hurry to remove. Adequate pockets, well made, zippers and Velcro all work fine although the neck strap was a bit annoying until trained, sizing is true. With a long sleeve flannel and this jacket, riding in 40-degree F is no problem all day as temps rose I simply removed flannel, I have not yet needed to remove the actual liner. Hot temps I can't say yet far from hot in the N.E, however there is plenty of zippered vents that allow plenty of air flow, I have not had any rain rides yet either. Armor is comfy and feels safe (untested) And the coat looks good and is better than my previous $200 jacket. I would and have recommended.
As in all my Tourmaster products, there is a lot of thought and feedback used in designing their products. Great fit, nice touches with the well-placed cooling panels, phone and wallet pouches, removable liner for cold weather, reflective pieces.
Exploring some of the backcountry roads in the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming yesterday I got caught in a patch of deep, loose sand on a steep uphill pitch and went down in the rocks alongside the road, hitting hard on my left elbow and back. I skinned up my shin a little, but didn't even get a bruise on elbow or back thanks to the armor in this jacket! It seems they're discontinuing this model -- the "media pocket" will barely hold my antiquated smartphone -- but I highly recommend the Tourmaster brand, that armor really works.
I ordered this jacket on a Saturday and it was at my house the following Tuesday. This jacket is completely worth the price and i am 100% satisfied with it and the customer service. I will definitely keep this seller in mind for the next purchase.I use this jacket almost daily on my commute to work in northern Utah where temperatures range from in the 60's up to 110 most days in the summer and as low as 40's spring and fall and a few days in the rain, this jacket has performed awesome and i have not even needed the liner yet.
ELEMENT COOLING LEATHER JACKET
Just got mine yesterday and I'm amazed at the quality. It was the only jacket that has all the features I wanted and the leather is beautiful. Features are similar to the Aerostitch Transit jacket at less than half the price. Oh and the Transit has no zippered vents.
Solid protection, good fit, reasonable price.
Used this jacket for 10k trip to Alaska. The jacket was waterproof and I rode through very heavy rain.
Husband loves this jacket. Comfortable and looks great.
Fits and performs great!!!
My year+ old Tourmaster Intake jacket with many miles on it developed a problem. At the Atlanta MC show I mentioned this to Scott at their booth. He told me he'd never heard of a problem with them, and that they'd probably want to see the jacket.
I contacted the head honcho via phone tag (he was in Daytona) and was asked to send in the jacket. After doing so, I received a personal call, at home, from Mr. Eli Whitney. He told me they had never seen this before, and that I'd get a new jacket.
The next phase was interesting as he contacted me while brainstorming with his staff members as to what caused the problem. He called and asked lots of questions as they came up with ideas. He even called my wife to ask about riding behind me and if there was anything she could think of, or anything related to her holding on while riding with me that was involved.
He let me know that the jacket was heading to the lab, and they were going to the plant to check it out. All this for a single reported problem with a line that sold tens of tens of thousands. My new jacket arrived, it fits, I'm looking forward to using it. I would like to thank Mr. Whitney for his personal involvement in this and for the courteous, professional manner the situation was handled.
I have a variety of their products, highly recommend them, and would not hesitate purchase more. For a major corporation to take the time and effort to do more than was required is refreshing and appreciated.
I bought one of your Transition jackets this spring, i love it . i feel that it made a big impact on the amount of road rash i did not get due to the quality of your jackets. i was on my way to work when a deer jumped up in front of me i hit it and went down on my shoulder and arm, no road rash, but i did brake my collar bone.
PIVOT 2 JACKET
I recently returned from a trip to Alaska on my 2007 HD Sportster. I wore the Pivot 2 everyday of the trip for a month and 11,000 miles. It made an excellent jacket for such a trip, seeing temperatures range from 100's down to 40 degrees F. I had always worn leather jackets previously, but got the Pivot 2 just days before leaving. The jacket held up well. Days when it rained heavy I did use my rain jacket over top the Pivot 2 and days reaching above 90 I stowed the jacket in the bungee net on the back. The jacket did fine in light rain, but heavy rain I would get a little wet. I also cheated and in the cooler weather I used my heated jacket liner (just because I had it along). Since getting home I washed the jacket (it was light brown instead of black from all the dust).
DRAFT AIR JACKET
Just wanted to thank you guys, my front tire slipped on some gravel on a curve going about 35/40 mph and I was skidding on the pavement for about 15 feet. My Tourmaster Draft jacket did its job perfectly and other than some minor bumps and bruises I came out unscathed. EMT's thanked me for wearing gear as they seems to treat allot of motorcycle calls involving riders with no gear. Anyways my family and I thank you for making a good product that I can attest works great.
INTAKE MESH JACKET
Recently, I had a high speed unplanned get off which totalled my bike. Fortunately, I had your products, an Intake jacket an Air Overpant on @ the time. I sustained minimal injury, mostly burns from sliding on the interstate @ high speed. I was in the hospital overnight for observation and released the next day. The emergency room staff and ambulance crew said they had never had a motorcycle accident victim with so few injuries. I have already ordered a new set of the same products from Cycle Outfitters, in the meantime, I already had the 3/4 length Tour Master jacket and overpant for colder weather which I have put into use. I was back on a bike one week later. Thanks!

MAGNUM LEATHER JACKET
I wanted to let you know that I use the XL Tour Magnum jacket, and it fits great. It's already got several hundred miles on it, and it feels great while riding. Nice and warm on those cool mornings, but open up the zippers for the warm afternoons and it's not too hot at all. I love how comfortable the precurved arms are while riding, and the reflective piping makes me feel safer riding in the dark.
Great jacket at a great price, and great customer service, too!

Two weeks ago yesterday, I was blown off the road by a "micro burst" of wind, South of Challis, ID on rt 93. I left the road at @ 55 MPH,skidding and flipping airborne for @ 100 yards. My bike landed on me once. I hit a fence post upside down and backwards, rolling into a barb wire fence, ending up face down in headsized rocks and high desert gravel.
My HJC helmet was torn and deformed, virtually destroyed. NO head injuries My litany of injuries are: Fractured left leg (small bone) Broken Neck Fractured Back Broken Sternum Broken Ribs Two broken wrists Dislocated fingers.
The testimonial is this: I survived! That same day, one lost his life and one is paralyzed from the chest down Neither was wearing armor or helmet andI have NO road rash. I lost NO skin. I have NO abrasions I have NO marks on my body, other than "surgical" wounds. EMT personnel, Flight trauma Nurses, Doctors, Nurses, Law enforcement personnel, etc are utterly amazed at how well I came through a very violent accident.
Although they had to cut my Transition Jacket off of me, due to the broken wrists and dislocated hands, both the jacket and pants showed no sign of damage and could have been worn again. I will ride again and will wear nothing but TourMaster gear, ever. I am alive today due to Tourmaster and I will be in your debt forever.

TRINITY TEXTILE JACKET
I just love my Tourmaster Trinity jacket. I've tried all kinds of "women's" jackets and they all are made to either fit children or supermodels that don't eat. Only your products seem to be made to fit real American women. Thanks Tourmaster!

TRANSITION SERIES 3 JACKET
A real nice value; having the right pockets, the right ventilation options, good fit, nice zipper closures, a servicable liner; though the insulated liner's nothing you'd wear when removed from the jacket. The jacket collar has a clever securing snap when worn in an open position. The back protection "pad" is a bit on the flimsy side, and I intend to insert an upgraded type in its place. The arm and shoulder armor is well positioned and stays properly aligned with the body areas they're designed to protect. The jacket doesn't "ride up" on your body when you're seated on the bike like a few other 3/4 length jackets I've owned. All-in-all I'm very pleased with the flexibility and range of weather conditions the jacket is suitable for. We've had a few odd spring days which started out in the mid-30's and finished off in the upper 80's and I was able to configure the jacket to be perfectly comfortable throughout the range... I'd easily recommend it to my riding buddies.
TRANSITION SERIES 3 JACKET
This is a great jacket, it is my first REAL motorcycle jacket as I usually just wore a snowboard coat or casual leather jacket when riding. I searched everywhere for a good review that would give me an idea of what size to purchase for myself but I couldn't find anyone that was my body type or gave any specifics. So here it goes.
It has very nice armor throughout the jacket, up the sleeves and on the shoulders, removable too. And a nice padding on the back of the jacket that is also removable.
There is plenty of vents in this jacket as you can read from the production description, I haven't ridden in hot weather yet but I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad if you take out the liner, open all vents, and unzip a little. LOTS OF POCKETS TOO, you won't have any trouble stashing all your trinkets in this jacket, one reviewer said he lost stuff in his jacket for brief moments, like I said there is tons of space. Nice reflective stripes around the jacket too for night riding.
I'm 5'10", 135lbs, very slim and long arms. This jacket comes in Regular and Tall sizes on some sites. I wasn't sure so I went down to the motorcycle dealer and purchased mine. I bought a Medium regular, I'm guessing regular because it didn't say tall. The jacket fits like it was tailored, not baggy but fitted around my entire upper body perfectly, when I stretch out my arms the sleeves sit right around the wrists, so I suppose they probly could be slightly longer(tall size adds 2inch to sleeves) but I am very satisfied and I think it will work perfectly.
I would recommend this jacket to ANYONE! Buy it!

INTAKE AIR 3 JACKET
This jacket is top notch wirth every penny! My husband loves it!! I cant believe all the detail in this jacket. If your looking for the best of the best get this jacket im serious!
I love this jacket. With the liner in, it keeps my arms and torso perfectly warm when riding home late at night. The fit is very comfortable, and it looks great. Wish it were a little cheaper, but so far worth the money.
Awesome jacket! You feel "suited up" in this rig and the fit is great. Zip out thermal layer and separate waterproof layer so it's versatile and gives you a good 3 season range. Rode in the low 40s a couple weeks ago with both liners in and never thought about the cold except for my hands and feet. Rode in the 80s earlier this year and had good ventilation with no liners.

JETT SERIES 3 JACKET
This is another Great Tour Master Product. Great company for making products for the middle class rider who likes to spend money on things other than his bike. Performs as advertised.
